Dear Fred, Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!

Sometimes, we as Christians, are so busy being Christian we forget to be CHRIST ians.

If we care not for the least of these, we care not for Jesus. God help us to see ourselves as the least of these.

With the Easter message approaching and when we read Isaiah who so graphically details the sufferings of Jesus - which were for all for us - how do we not think we are the least of these?

Why would He enter this world for such as the likes of me?

Yesterday, my 5 year old grandson wanted to know what dust is. I was dusting furniture, etc. in game room where most of his toys are located. It was a mess!!!!

I did not know the scientfic answer so I asked him if he knew that God made us from dust. He was interested. Yes, I said He took some dust and blew His breath into what He formed which was an image of Himself - like when Jesse looks in mirror and see himself - (Jesse was getting it) - then I told him we became living beings.

Out of the mouth of babes - he fell over like he was dead - and said: "That is what everyone is like who does not have the Spirit of God!"

Fred, I want the Spirit to be fresh in me everyday and real. How can I see with the eyes of Jesus if not? How could I ever have come up with so revealing an answer as my 5 year grandson if not?

Last word of this story: Jesse said: "Jesus is the most important person in all the world and if people don't understand that they don't know anything at all."

So my question in response to your excellent article:

"How do we know Jesus?" "Is He the real Jesus?"

Thanks for allowing me to share. Carol Lawson
