God does not give us the spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind. How is a sound mind acquired? Spending lots ot time in reading the Scriptures, other related materials to them, praying for illumination, revelation and strength. Also the Bible tells us not to walk circumspectively but to observe all around us. If we just swallow the first thing no wonder we are blown by every wind of doctrine. Jesus is waiting on us to come to Him. He will make our paths straight. Just like King David wrote when he hoped to be lead in a plain path. If we have humility enough for that we are on the road. Jesus will appear the second time without sin unto salvation for all those looking for Him. Who are we looking for? Man of God? Ignorance is not blisss.
